		Distinguished Newcomer Award This award is given to any new player that distinguishes themselves and makes themselves known to the other members of the ship.		Details
		Distinguished Volunteer Award Awarded to an individual that volunteers their spare time to help the sim and/or the Fleet in a significant way, such as designing graphics for use on the site or helping with site maintenance.		Details
		Doyle Mystery Award Awarded to an individual that develops a Mystery story-line.		Details
		Duane Ribbon Awarded to an individual that demonstrates exceptional writing skills.		Details
		Friendship Ribbon Awarded to an individual that develops a convincing and meaningful friendship with another character or NPC. (Romantic relationships qualify for the Cupid Award instead)		Details

		Movie Magic From time to time the CO will be insert a movie quote into the posts he/she in on. Those on the actual post will have no heads up. The CO will be adding an asterisk to the post title and an OOC with a hint or two, as the post is posted, to let everyone knows to be on the look out. First to get it right wins. The first to get to 5 quotes gets the award. Once issued the board is cleared and we start again.		Details

		Expeditionary Medal Awarded for participation in a simulationâ€™s first mission. The Expeditionary Medal is awarded to all crewmembers who have participated in the majority of the first Operational mission of their simm (including the Commanding Officer). 		Heart of a Tiger Awarded to the crew member that writes supreme battle posts, making their posts enjoyable and exciting to read in the heat of battle.		Details
		Joint Service Commendation Awarded to StarFleet or StarFleet Marine Corps personnel who participate in a joint mission with other simms. While no sample posts are required, a general overview of the mission is required - along with acknowledgement of the other ship, or ships, which participated.		Details
		Kzinti Campaign Medal Sim only Award: This award is presented to those crew members that served on board the USS Achilles during the Kzinti War Mission.		Details
		Medal of Honor This medal is awarded for the showing of bravery and valor in the heat of combat. Recipients of this Medal can serve in any department. Sample posts are required.		Details

		Obsidian Fleet Service Citation Awarded to a member of the crew who has served with the ship for at least 6 months. This award is non-cumulative.		Details

		Rose Award Awarded to the crew member that has made significant "romantic" character advancements.		Details
		Tactical Superiority Award Presented to individuals who play a major role (or even solely) develop new tactics and/or combat manuevers while in ship-to-ship combat; not to be confused with the hand-to-hand award, which is similar. These must prove to be very efficient and worthy of much attention. An example would be the Picard Maneuver. Sample posts are required.		Details
		Task Force CO of the Quarter Distributed Quarterly, this award recognizes the efforts put forth by a Commanding Officer; as recognized by his fellow crewmembers, Task Group CO and - ultimately - Task Force CO. Nomination and selection for this award results from a cooperative effort from the Task Force in question - or the Awards department should the Task Force CO/XO be selected for nomination. 		Ten Year Anniversary Award In observance of Obsidian Fleet's ten year anniversary, all currently active players as of July 29th, 2011 are hereby recognized for their dedication, loyalty and service to the Fleet. This award will be a one-time only honor, granted to all active characters on July 29th, 2011, and thereafter retired. The purpose of the award is not only to mark the special date, but also to acknowledge the people that have made this Fleet what it is - the players - by giving them a small token of appreciation.
