Casiday had stayed back to run Sickbay on the Achilles as majority of the department was on the run dealing with the Ballaed's most servely injured. =^= Capatain this is Cas here we are full capaity and cant take anymore injured. Are there any other ship coming to help us with the wounded? =^= her voice was shakey and frustrated. her wall breaking down.

Cas was treating a engineer who had serve burns that wouldn't heal properly.
=A= On my way just finishing up with an engineer lying on bio bed =A=

[Counselor's Office]
Cas walked into the counselors officer and just broke down in tears.
"What is it Lieutenant?" Alex asked walking over to her and wrapping his arms around her.
"My mother was murdered whilst I was away on here." Casiday said between sob.
"Come. Have a seat and you can tell me about it. From the beginning. I assure you it will be okay." Alex replied.
Cas didn't know how to tell him what happened. "My mother murder on the morning she was to give a lecture on the slipstream project."
"When and where?"
"About a month ago it was on Bajor." she sighed.
"Who murdered her?" Alex asked. Counseling someone for the first time in a while amazed Alex. The easiness of it was undoubted.
"I dont know. Its still under investigation."
"We could ask the captain if we could go and help with the investigation."
"We're needed here right now. This where our orders sent us and that includes me." Cas hated counsellors normally but Alex was different to most she had served with.
"Bull Crap they need us. We have subordinates who are dying to take our position for a day." Alex stated with a kindness in his voice.
"The Captain probably wont let us. We are needed here." She rested her head on his shoulder and continued to cry.
"You want to bet. Let me call the captain." Alex stopped giving her one last time to protest.
"With all fairness I needed to talk to someone I have not had time to grieve for my mom."
"Alright. Have a seat and we'll talk. If at the end of our talk you want to go help with the investigation we will. Understood Lieutenant?" Alex asked.
"Yes Sir..." she had felt a huge pressure come off her she wondered how Mac and and Rae-Anna are doing she would have to call them. she started to smile.
