Emergency Command Holograms personal log Stardate 68005.6.

The ECH was activated on this stardate by the commanding officer of the USS Achilles, Prometheus class tactical starship. There was no immediate emergency, however my program was initiated at the discretion of Rear-Admiral Da'al, who commands the vessel. He has activated my program in a hope that my vast knowledge and experience and will aid the crew and the ship in its overall development, and he would like me to remain active indefinitely. Although my core programming and design brief tells me that I should not remain online for extensive periods of time, I am in-fact full of intrigue and am quiet anxious to commence work as a 'normal' crew member. In the short time I have had available to me, I have been able to research the development of the emergency medical holographic program which was active aboard the USS Voyager for seven years, and I believe that I can eventually reach his stage of social development. However, if I really am to achieve that goal, and become a full fledged member of this crew, then I must decide on a name for myself, and soon.
