Forces once at work against a Klingon officer seem to have turned their attention on his former officers - Captain Montoya and Commander Means.
These two officers had commanded vessels assigned to, then Commodore, Da`nal's task force and had stood with the Commodore after the recall of that same mission. Maneuvering against Da`nal had manifested previously but the powers that be had tried to use the missions recall against the Klingon. They had conducted nearly a year long investigations into the actions of the three officers in an attempt to find wrong doing. Though no wrong doing was found on any of the three officers, Da`nal resigned, Montoya had been without assignment for months, and Means had been tasked with menial duties for the former Marine.
Even with Da`nal's resignation, take charge of his House with the Klingon Empire, these mysterious forces don't satisfied with his departure. Are they so petty that they have now turned on others? What kind of cancer is growing with the Federation that these venomous people have remained in power? More importantly can they be exposed and stopped? |
