Physical Description		Robbie is a smidge above average height for a human male, his blue eyes are lighter and bright like a clear day. He has a sort of sophistication that came from somewhere other than the upper crust. His expressions are more diplomatic and his true feelings do not show, he promotes a kind face to the universe and is mannered in his interactions. His clothing is mostly manufactured rather than replicated and has an eye for the finer things. He can be at ease in a five star restaurant of a back alley dive. His uniforms are kept neat but has a tendency to leave jacket partly unzipped in a more fashionable way.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		Robbie is not the sort one places with 'Rough and Tumble' yet he has that kind of confidence; almost haughty, that he projects by his very being. Not one to be rattled easily he is an intelegent man who catches more than he allow to be known. Secretive to a fault with the 'Tech' and Tricks' he is capable of. He was more of a low grade 'WHite Collar' thief in his youth. 'Robbie the Cat' is a Second Story thief that would hit the elite and was never caught officially. Several times arrested but never able to have suficent evidence remaining to connect him with a crime. He had signed up for Intel Department and after some training was relinquished to Engineering as he the call for Intel department personnel dwindled. Or so he was told. Robbie is almost a recluse with a taste for the better thinhs in life; he had an eye for valueand is generous with friends. There is little he will not do for a friend in need, but outside his circle you are just 'a number or name' and of little value to him on the surface. He evaluates pople and makes his decision of importance based on that review.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strong Computer knowledge is coupled wiuthe the Eletronics specialty that makes him able to work computers and associated hardware ran by computers. His mindset is often 'Outside the normal Box' and he is said to be able to reprograms anything Daystrome; or the Binars and even the Cegeti women can come up with. He is very gifted with his process of not leaving traces of his work and i said to have a few programs that even Daystrom graduates might envy. He is also a team player as he sees those he works with, or the ship he serves, as a sort of Family unit and there is nothing Robbie will not go for family. On his weakness is the suspected criminal background that got his shipped off Risa; his home world, and the almost aloof manners he keeps outside the chain of command. He will respect the position of an officer but sometimes rubs them the wrong way. He has his 'own' way of doing things that get work done by regulation parameters but not methods. He can be seemingly smug and separate if he does not like a person or with strangers. Has many 'Tall tales' and legends of 'Syndi cctae and their danger also the curent exsistence of Syndicates and the Black Market business of 'Fencing things.'

Personal History

Robbie was the only son; his parents ran a legitimate Massage parlor on Risa. His family friend was aMassage Thearipist who went Civilian Practice and ran an practice out of the spa. The syndicates in their city of operation saw a profiatble business and wanted to do a shake-down. Of course the Robbie Family refused and their place was 'msyteriously destroyed by an eletrical fire; Robbie 's parents were killed in the fore while he was a school. The friend wanted to take in the young Robbie but refused as She took a new 'practice' and was a front for the syndicate, the place became just short of a brothel. His uncle Hal did swee to take in his nphew; being Robbie's Godfather and not legal kin; there was some fancy pay-offs and such involved. Hal noted the Young Robbie's natural talent with computers and eventually the hardware and eletronis associated with Computers. Hal was a smaller time 'White Collar riminal, his jobs would leave enough resouces after fencing to live comfortably for months. The Young Robbie leaqrned quick and when a job went south uncle Hal was slower in his middle years and did not get out in time. Robbie was the 'Eletronics man' with the survailance hacks to aid Hal. But hal wanted those 'few months' of extra stones more than planned and was sloppy. John Robbie was alone... again. He decided to go into his own business and stole from the wealthy, just enough for the insurance to cover and lived comfortable in-between jobs, never taking more than needed and only from individuals. Corporations and business were often connected to a Syndicate and he wanted nothing to do with them. He avoid jobs he suspected hade Syndicate fingerprints. Just a small time Thief who specialized in upper floors of buildings for his crime; where those that had cheated to get what they had were burgled for a small cut of the ill-gotten gains. He carefully screened his cases and made sure to be in the clear. Still under age but well educated through Self-study in his downtimes he managed to be placed under arrest but insufficient evidence to convict. The courts saw fit to ship him off planet in an 'Exchange program' with Federation Cadets. It solved their problems. Robbie adjusted well to life as a cadet; three squares a day and soft bed to sleep in without risk. He just kept his head low and worked his magic to pass classes. He applied for infiltration training with Intel, he took some training but did not excel at the 'physical infiltration; it might have been deliberate from being burned in his past, but was attuned to the Electronic surveillance and infiltrating the target system to be able to guide the teams. But not enough to seem to stand out. Back to the Fleet Engineering; with a short stint covering Marine Operations and computer systems on an Akira Class ship with Marine detachment. Robbie kept their equipment in top condition to the point the Marines request him for repairs and such. He gained a reputation as 'The man for computers' and the Ship's Engineering Section quit loaning him out as often, having him focus on the Main Computer. It was more of a 'Posh' duty in his mind so he just continued to keep the computer constantly upgraded in software and when he could procure 'hardware. Sometimes the usual channels did not know how he had such up to date modules and such that the 'reference' numbers were in the system but never fully verified. Deemed by computer paperchain as usable they were over-looked due to the volume of requests and the OPS support staff of stations not needing to scramble to fill that order. Soon came the position as Computer Specialist on the Pheonix and his transfer was quickly approved. Some say he was 'hijacked' from the USS Tanaka' for his skills but never verified. He does his job and is known to keep the Main Computer alive and well, even ahead on maininace and refit parts.
